Tour de Tinnie - March 2023

Tour de Tinnie - March 2023

On this month’s tour, we board a train and travel through styles young and old. Whether it be the often-forgotten ESB (English Special Bitter) or the brand-new smoothie sour (with marshmallows!), we have something for everyone to try!

What's in the box:

Stingrays • XPA

Extra Pale Ale | 4.0% | Abbotsford, VIC

Bodriggy are known for their hazies, sours and adjunct-laden stouts but their Stingrays line of ‘bougie bogan’ beers are designed to appeal to the masses and be bought by the case. Stingrays XPA has a crisp, fruity hop profile without going overboard.

Bentspoke • Bent

Straightforward Beer | 4.0% | Braddon, ACT

Hailing from the nation’s capital, Bentspoke Brewing has been a staple in the Australian craft scene since their launch in 2014. ‘Bent’ is an easy-drinking beer (lager? pale?) created to be enjoyed watching the footy with your mates.

Boatrocker • Straight to VHS

English Special Bitter | 5.5% | Braeside, VIC

Boatrocker are back with an often-forgotten style; ESB. Built off a rich biscuity English malt backbone, the addition of traditional British hops provides a nice layer of spices and raisins coming through on top.

Co-Consirators • Usual Suspects IPA

IPA | 5.8% | Brunswick, VIC

Co-conspirators have never had a core-range... until now. With the release of three new beers, the ‘Usual Suspects’ line is their first foray into all-day, every-day releases. This American style IPA has a great bitterness with dank, resinous, grapefruit making it very moreish.

Local • Lager

Australian Lager | 4.2% | Clifton Hill, VIC

Local Brewing have been partnering with Second Bite, providing meals to those in need, since inception in 2019. This continues with their fresh-look lager, made from all-Aussie ingredients. Enjoy a crisp, bready base with zesty hops layered on top.

Good Land • Tiki Juice

Hazy IPA | 6.0% | Traralgon, VIC

Good Land’s beers speak for themselves – always quality with a heavy Euro influence. This beer, however, deviates from the Euro classics and jumps on the hazy train – next stop: Pacific Islands. Big tropical juice flavours and a beautiful, fluffy body with a lingering bitterness.

Hargreaves Hill • Fruit Ninja

Strawberry & Banana Pancake Smoothie Sour | 6.0% | Lilydale, VIC

The brewers from Yarra Valley are back with another delicious dessert beer. Laden with plenty of adjuncts (strawberries, bananas, maple syrup – even marshmallow fluff and flapjacks!) this smoothie sour is the perfect treat to finish this month’s Tour de Tinnie.
